The Buderim Electorate spans 61 square kilometres and is home to over 39,000 electors.
We live within a number of distinct communities including Sippy Downs, Brightwater, Mountain Creek, Tanawha, Buderim and the new Palmview development, which will continue to see residents flock to the region over the next few years.
Buderim is steeped in history and was once a rural farming town. I encourage you to find out more about this amazing community and its history by visiting the Buderim Historical Society.
Natural areas to explore include the Buderim Forest Park and Waterfalls, Lions Park, Wirreanda Park, Foote Sanctuary, Pioneer Cottage, Wilson Creek Tanawha Trail, to name a few.
One of the greatest things about Buderim is its central location and unique village charm. Buderim is close to beaches, cafes and restaurants, parks, schools and the Maroochydore CBD. The engine room of the Buderim electorate is without doubt the countless numbers of community and service groups that work selflessly in the community. A visit to the Buderim War Memorial Community Association in the Main Street or online is a great start to getting to know and becoming a part of the village.
